Question: Who is the beast in the Lord Of The Flies!?

I'm reading the Lord Of The Flies for school and I don't understand who the beast is!. At first, I thought it was a boar, but in my homework, it has a picture of a boy, hiding behind a tree and it says that's who the beast is, but what boy is it!?Www@QuestionHome@Com
