Question: Do you like the book 'Twilight'!?

I am just starting to read it!. I have heard many positive things about it, but it seems to be a huge book!. Is it worth reading!?

The ABSOLUTE BEST book i have ever read!. no competition!. seriously! the whole series! New Moon, Eclipse, Breaking Dawn! move november 21!!! Can't wait!!! seriously! its huge but you'll get through it in like 3 days once you get into it!Www@QuestionHome@Com

Yes, once you read it!. So did I!.
But then I realized what a boring sappy love story it is!.
Badly written, detailed, highly unrealistic (despite the vamps and lycanthrops, there are many more), simple sentences, no suspense!.
If you have the book, finish it!. But that is it!. Don't bother reading the rest of the books!.
There is hardly any drama or action!. The second book is a waste of parchment, since half the book is the same thing over and over and over!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

it is worth the read!. it is by far one of te best books i've read!. it has a way of making you feel like your in the book- so much so that you start to care for the characters as if they were your own!. plus it's an easy read, it doesn't have a complicated plot and it grips you so much that its nearly impossible for you to let go of it!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

And honestly!? Just look at this passage from the book itself:

"He lay perfectly still in the grass, his shirt open over his sculpted, incandescent chest, his scintillating arms bare!. His glistening, pale lavender lids were shut, though of course he didn’t sleep!. A perfect statue, carved in some unknown stone, smooth like marble, glittering like crystal!."

You want to tell me that this sounds like the voice of 17 year-old girl!? Really!? Not only is it complete rape of the thesaurus ('scintillating'!? I mean it's not as though I don't know what the word means, but honestly!.!.!.) but ti's just bad writing, period!. The book is one giant cliche wrapped up with two-dimensional characters!. The lead is a ridiculous Mary Sue and the guy an even worse Gary-Stu (though an exaggerated Byronic Gary Stu he is)!. There IS NO PLOT!.

I'll probably be given a lot of thumbs-down by Twilight fans but seriously!.!.!. It's not worth it!. You'll feel like half your brain cells got slaughtered!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

It's okay!. It's a very fast, very light read!. The book has so much potential and it just never seems to really fulfill it!. That and there wasn't really a legitimate external conflict until the very end of the book!.

If it were up to me, I'd recommend "Interview With the Vampire" first!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

It is the best book that I've ever read! The series are amazing! The way Stephanie writes!.!.!. it's so easy to put yourself in Bella's shoes and imagines what she's going through!. It's way too easy to become obsessed! Can't wait for the movie!!

If you're interested in GOOD Young Adult fiction, I would recommend The Gemma Doyle Trilogy by Libba Bray, the Uglies trilogy by Scott Westerfeld, John Green, Maureen Johnson, E!. It's a terrible book, to be honest!. Big books are a good thing, in my view, but not this one!. It's just filled with a lot of talk on how beautiful the main guy is, over and over again!. Completely boring!. So much could have been cut out!. Www@QuestionHome@Com
