Question: Does anyone know of specific works of literature where weather is important!?
I have to write an English essay on the importance of weather in literature, my problem is I can't think of any works of literature right now!. I want to use something where rain is important!.!.!.any ideas!? Anything Biblical or from Shakespear would be great!.
Noah's Ark was given as an example so I can't use that one!. Thanks for your help!

The weather in The Tempest (whose title refers to the storm Prospero raised)!.

Jospeh's interpretation of Pharoah's dream, and the famine that follows!. Some think the famine was due to a drought!.

The nor'easter in The Perfect Storm!.
The snow and the cold in Doctor Zhivago!. (The snow and the cold are important elements in a lot of literature having to do with Russia!.)
