He finally says the exact words, in chapter 17, "The Game" on page, 366!. Hope I helped :)

Yes he does say it on page 366!. I have my book with me!. here is the exact quote!.

Edward: "I love you!." !.!."It's a poor excuse for what I'm doing, but it's still true!."
