its not exactly fiction!.

if you have read any of the books, or go to the website, the author has been through a few things that have happened!.!.!.of has witnessed it!.

its pretty much based off of all of her high school experiences!.
so its not fiction- but its realistic(and a little non) fiction!.
anything that didnt happen CAN happen-its realistic fiction!.
and anything that did happen, is non fiction and happened to the lady that wrote the book!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Yep, as far as I know it is!. I'm assuming you already know that it was a book series before a TV series!. Most of the time on one of the first pages in a book there will be a bunch of info like where it was published etc!. etc!. and there it will say, "any people and places are works of fiction, and any similarties are coincidences" or something like that!. Check there for that type of info!.

As far as i know it is a made up tv series!.
It may seem real but i don't think it is!.

Maybe you have just been too engrossed into the story which is good for the creators of the series!.

Gossip Girl is a series of fictional books written by Cecily von Ziegesar!. It was then made into a TV series and aired in 2007!.
