Question: Stolen books from the school bookstore!?
My boyfriend who doesn't get financial aid is thinking of stealing his class books from the bookstore and then trying to sell them back at the end!. but I keep telling him he'll get caught because I figure the school probably has some kind of identification that the book was never purchased!. Am I right!? I really don't want him to get in trouble but he is a full time college student with a part time job!. He's really got no money for books! Help please!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

Goggle LimeWire!. Download the free version and search for the book!. Download it!. Before running it be sure you scan it with an anti virus program since viruses float around!. Before you download it, be sure to check the size near the left corner!. If it states an unrealistic size (aka !.02 Kilobytes) do not download it!. Most books range from 100 kilobytes to 5 megabytes, if it's out of that range it is most likely not a book!. To prevent movies from popping up you can limit your search to documents alone!. The free version of LimeWire is not limited but it isn't as fast as the type you buy!. It might be illegal but I don't think so!. You might want to check before you use it as some places in The UK monitor people who use illegal software!. Enjoy!.
If you don't want to do that then you can visit www!.truly-free!.org which is legal but asks you to delte the books after two weeks (hinting that is illegal not to) and they only have books written in the 20th century as opposed to LimeWire which has almost everything!.
The above sources are both completely free!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Books for college is so expensive, that it's not even funny!. Some books cost more than the course itself, well community college at least!. The books they sell are such a rip off that it's so unfair!. I don't blame anyone who plans to steal them rather than buy it, use it for one semester than what!? But yeah, stealing it from the school then selling it back to them might get you caught, I'd sell it to another place or something!. Either way stealing is wrong, but I wouldn't feel bad about it since it's so expensive!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

you could loan him the money, books online are so much cheaper and you can sell them back to the school, steal them then sell them back online or to other students on campus use facebook for that, borrow another students, see if there are copies in the library or learning resource centerWww@QuestionHome@Com

I am not sure in your particular college but when I was in college they forgot to charge me for a book!. It was like a 150!.00 dollar book and I sold it back for like 75!.00!. This was like 7 years ago and all I remember them doing is looking it over to see if it was in good condition!. I don't remember them scanning them!. But I don't think stealing is the answer!. There are several websites out there like Amazon and stuff that sell the books cheaper!. Sure you can't resell them back to the bookstore (and trust me you don't get very much back especially if there is a new edition coming out) but you can always resell them back on Amazon!. also sometimes professors have the book on hold in the libraries for student use so they can come in and read it in case they didn't buy the book!. I think that your bf really needs to think before he steals these books!. If he is caught this could ruin the rest of his life!. He is facing a fine, or perhaps jail time and it might be a felony (I am not sure) but seriously try getting a job when you are a convicted felon!. This could interrupt or ruin his academic career!. Perhaps you can really take a look at his finances and see where you can trim some expenses- buy generic at the grocery store, don't go out to eat, only drive when necessary etc etc!. I was a very poor college student once and that is what I had to do!. Please try to disuade him from going the stealing route!Www@QuestionHome@Com
