Question: I'm writing a book, what's a good name for a character!?
I'm writing a book and I need a name!. Not a normal one but kinda strange, a girls name!. I don't want it to be really unusual, just unpopular!. The character is a black- haired woman with a pale complexion!. Very pretty, gentle, shy, and sweet!. She's about 18 or 19!.
Thanks for answering!Www@QuestionHome@Com

Brenna means raven-haired and I think it's a pretty name!. Emma just comes to mind because it's a soft, gentle name!. Malinda is nice (it means gentle and dark!.) Pretty much anything that ends in an "ah" sound would work, probably!. Anna!? Hannah!? Or perhaps Kiera!? Maria!? Maybe something like Alise!?
I like the site below because of all the search options!. You can find interesting names and common names alike!. You can search by meaning so as to "capture the essence" of the character in the name, too!. It's great!.
Hope I helped!.

Edit: People are giving thumbs down over names!? That's slightly ridiculous!. Everybody is entitled to their opinion on questions like these, and so long as no answers are offending they shouldn't be judged negatively!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I think the names Nadia or Nessa would fit!.

I find this site very helpful:

http://www!.20000-names!.com/

along side the names are meanings and where it originated!.

I found that the name Ermilinda (or many variations) means wholly, soft, and tender!.

Cait (or variations) means pure!.

Ciara means little black one!.!.!.

Deirdre is an Irish myth name, meaning tragic heroine, meaning "young girl"

Hope you find what you are looking for!.
