I know its prolly a long shot asking!.!.!. but i remember the cover was black, and there was a little devil running at the bottom and the letters on the front were red!.
I remember certain parts of the book like her step mother was dead afraid of a school, that she ended up going to, there was a braniac boy in her school that constantly tried to hit on her!. And the school was haunted by a jack and jill book
And a weird laser!.
