Question: What are some good sci-fi books for ages 12-15 maybe a litte over!?
I've read the maximum ride series, midnighters series, when the wind blows and the lake house, I've read hidden talents and true talents, I dont want to read twilight or uglies pretties or any in that series!. I enjoy sci-fis where kids get powers or have powers (midnighters have an extra hour of the day and their own power, maximum rides, the lake house and when the wind blows all have wings, hidden and true talents have powers, telkinesis, mind reading, starting fire, etc) I want books like those, not vampires, witches, fairies!. Realistic enough to where it COULD happen but most likeyly wouldnt; realistic fiction or in this case realistic science Fiction!. So please help and I like BIG books, a range from 300 to 600 pages!. Well I'm having a hard time suggesting things, but at least you were specific, so that we'll know what you like!. I'm almost 100% sure you'd like Immortal by Traci L!. Slatton once you got into it!. It's very long, and a bit hard to read a first because it's depressing and slow, but later on it's an amazing book!. It's about a boy in 14th c!. Florence, and it really could happen!.
Tuck Everlasting by Natalie Babbitt is a great book, but it's not long!. Definitely worth your time, though!.
A few people like the Inkheart books by Cornelia Funke, but some people hate them!. It's a hit-or-miss thing, but I liked the first one (but I haven't read the others!.)
Have you ever considered Harry Potter or The Chronicles of Narnia!? Just throwing those in!. The Uglies series is really good, and it could happen in the future, really!. You may not like any of those three series, but I suggest them strongly!.

hey, how about this:
1) Animorphs series (K!. A!. Applegate-though I think it's a bit short for you lol)
2) His Dark Materials series (Philip Pullman-this one's pretty cool!. They even made a movie out of it-The Golden Compass)
3) Heroes (Instead of reading, just watch the DVD!?)
4) Ella Enchanted (that one's pretty good too though I don't think it's your type since its pretty much a fairytale)
5) Beowulf (I know it's old English, and it's a classic but hey, it's also pretty good to read ya know!.!.!.try it)
6) some of my stories (lol)
