Here are four, from different genres!.

1!. Classics!.

Mansfield Park!. that book is killer awesome!. Yes, it's Jane Austen!. But if you are going to read jane Austen, this is the book to do it with!. Loved it!.

2!. Science Fiction!.

Ender's Game!. Frankly, my favorite thing about this book is that if you read it on the bus or in another public place, i guarantee someone will approach you and inform you that it is an amazing book and it's so good and they loved it!. Sometimes, you get the extra bonus of these people not being super-weird!.!.!. But not usually!. Yeah, and it's an amazing book and it's so good and I loved it!.

3!. High-Brow Contemporary Fiction!.

Water for Elephants!. Dude, it's about the circus!. AND freight train hopping!. And true love and corruption and hookers and elephants and being old!. What's not to love!?

4!. Mystery!.

OMG!. You really must read And Then There Were None, by Agatha Christie!. Most epic mystery ever!. True, Hercule Poirot isn't in it!. (I love Hercule Poirot!.) BUT it is amazingly awesome and epic and mind-blowing, and you have to read it!. It's sometimes called "Ten Little Indians!."Www@QuestionHome@Com

If you want action, adventure, gritty plot and colorful characters, read BLOOD PROPHECY!.

But if you can't handle the intensity, or you have a heart problem I'd just read the back synopsis!. The cover drawing by itself will give you the willies if you're not prepared for it!.

I recently read a good book, it was for school but it wasn't so bad!. It's called The Poisonwood Bible by Barbara Kingsolver!.
