Twilight or Harry Potter? WHICH IS BETTER?????

Question: Twilight or Harry Potter!? WHICH IS BETTER!?!?!?!?!?

Okay we all know it is obvious that the Twilight saga has been stealing some of HP's thunder!. Thats the whole reason,in my opinion, of the push back of the HP movie that was supposed to be released in Nov!. but is now being released in the Summer of 09!. Because Twilight is being released around the same time! But HP has a slightly bigger fanbase due to its appeal of all age groups, unlike Twilight, who's fanbase is mostly teens and adults!. But then how come Twilight made more money in its release of Eclipse than the last HP book!? What is your opinion!?

i read both series and i like twilight better!.!. i think twilight might be doing better becuse harry potter is kind of like pokemon in a way!. like how its repetitive!. in pokemon team rocket keeps coming back in each episode and in harry potter lord voldemort keeps comming back!. you know that the good guys are gonna win but you dont know how or what goes on inbetween

I've always loved Harry Potter but after reading Twilight, I fell in love with books all over again!.
Twilight is for more mature readers and unlike Harry Potter, kept me hooked from the moment I read the first page of the first book, until the moment I finished the last page of the last book!.
It's more easily related to and I engaged with it much more easily!. With Harry Potter, there were parts in all the books I couldn't be bothered to read again after reading them once whereas with the Twilight saga, I can't get enough of them all!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Harry Potter is much better, first off it is directed not just for kids but adults also, and both genders male and female!. Twilight is directed more towards teenage girls!. Harry Potter 7 sold 11 million copies in the first 24 it was available!. And came more than 2 weeks before Eclipse did!. Eclipse sold more than Harry Potter once it came out, not initially!. So lets recap, Harry Potter sold 11 million copies in the first 24 hours it came out, and Eclipse has sold less than 2 million copies total in the past year!. That is a HUGE difference! I think that you're right that the two aren't really comparable in the same category since Twilight isn't for younger audiences!. I would also look at the release of the second or third book in the HP series compared to Eclipse or Breaking Dawn because sales might change when your buying the seventh book in a series compared to the second!. I heard that they pushed the HP movie back so that they could have it come out during the summer when people go to the movies more often or something like that!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

Harry Potter!. Don't get me wrong I personally LOVE Twilight but you just can't say it's better than Harry Potter!. JK Rowling makes this amazing world and you can really connect to the characters!. You can watch Harry Ron and Hermione develop and I think that's why it's so great!. I also love their witty conversations!. I mean Twilight is also good, I mean VERY VERY good but Harry Potter is better!. You just can't beat it!.

i think harry potter is in a way, better!. not only do kids from elementary school to older age adults like it, it is also a more original story!. the author put so much effort into creating this magical - type school with everything from wizard's chess to death eaters!. it has a lot of adventure and fate intertwined into the story and it catches your attention so easily!.
twilight is more of a romantic tragedy; not all that unique because there are many other books out there with the same theme!.
i think in 100 years, people will still remember the harry potter books and movies, but twilight will fade away!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

JKR is a better storyteller than SM!. I'm not sure how well she'd do with romance, but as far as characterization and plot go, she takes the epic win (as opposed to a normal or relatively lame win, lol)!. Besides, anyone at all can love Harry Potter, but Twilight, while immensely popular, is still more focused as far as audience go!. The only problem here is!.!.!. I think I may like Jacob Black (fave Twilight character) more than George Weasley (fave Harry Potter character)!. But that's the only backwards bit here!. Otherwise, HP FTW! ^__^Www@QuestionHome@Com

I love twilight and personally i do not like harry potter!. It depends on what you like!. I believe that most people got the book from twilight bc of edward and robert pattinson!. He is a hunk, that probally why people just want to read more about him!. I know that when i read about him, i felt like i was bella or just like i wanted him really badly!. As a fan of both wizards and vampires, I simply cannot compare the two! They are both completely different series, both of which are excellent, but they are on such a high level of superiority that you just can't compare them!

I think that Twilight is an easier read and sounded solid through the whole series!. Unlike Harry Potter in which I question the sixth and seventh book!. However I have spent ten years as a Harry Potter fan and only a year or two as a Twilight fan!. Harry Potter, obviously!. They're WAY better written, and have sold tons more copies!. HP is more complex and is worth reading!. Twilight just sucks!. In my opinion, Twilight is the best thing that ever happened to the world!. I like Harry Potter but!.!.!.Twilight is just better; a lot better!. i think it depends on which book from the series it is!. I LOVE the romance and heated moments in Twilight but Harry Potter let my mind really wander and i had tons of fun with both! So i LOveD HP's 4 book but Twilight's first book was AMAZING!Www@QuestionHome@Com
