If I was writing the essay, I'd choose #2, 4, or 5!. I think #2 might be the easiest to write about!. #4 doesn't seem too hard, either, but you may have trouble coming up with more than a few short paragraphs on it!. And I'd pick #5 only because I've read The Awakening as well as The Scarlet Letter and I'd be able to make comparisons between the two books where appropriate in the essay!.

I would probably choose the first one because you can expand quite a bit on it!.

I have not read this novel, but there are a number of online study guides, and quite a few other resources on the web that can help you with this question!.
