Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince was due for release in November this year, but now studio bosses say it won't hit cinemas until 17 July 2009!.

Warner Bros said the Hollywood writers' strike earlier this year meant some of the films that had been planned for the summer wouldn't be ready on time!.

i really wonder what they are going to leave out of it though cause the book has ALOT in so!.!.!.

Oh, and I hear that when they make the movie Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallow's, it's going to be a 2-part movie so that they can fit everything in! That's the bright side to look on!. Well, the good news is that 'The Tales of Beedle The Bard' is being published in time for Christmas and if fans really want a challange they can try getting hold of the recently published Harry Potter Prequel, but with only 10,000 copies of this printed and no plans for it to be reprinted it will be like trying to find a Horcrux!Www@QuestionHome@Com

I've heard the studio is blaming it on the writer's strike, but me and my friends think it's because they don't want Twilight to steal their thunder, since it's being released 3 wks later!.

And to the guy that said jk rowling is going to release the tales of beetle the bard!. she already did!!! If you read the deathly hallows you would see that that story is in it!.!. idiot!
And to the girl who said the first movie was the best!. hmmm!. i think not!.
heres my preference order!.
1) no!. 3 (mainly because of the really good plot [ but thats jo's doing]
2) no!. 4 (It was scary but was really funny too [the whole ron/harry feud]even though the book wasn't so great!. [im comparing this with other hp books, its still one of the best books ever written]
3) no!. 5 ( this is s really good movie [probably the best one] but it didn't have the harry potter feel [know what i mean!?!?])
4 & 5) no!. 1 and no!. 2 - can't really decide between the two [ accually i think i like no two the best] !. they are really good movies but as the are my least fav books in the series they are down the bottom!.

I was at the studios when I found out, I was eating past with Daniel, Emma, Rupert and my cousin, and I hadnt heard before and then Emma said it, and I pretty much yelled 'WHY!?!' it was embaressing, seeing as lots of other cast members were trying to eat their lunch, but we had a good joke about it after, at my expenseWww@QuestionHome@Com
