I want to write a book that is sort of law and order style!. there would be a crime investigation and court to go along with it!. Now, im not too sure of a plot so i want to learn about real crimes and court cases that have occured!. I do not want to read mystery and crime books that authors have written as fiction because me basing my book off of that would be copyright infringement!. But i can legally base my plot off of something that has really happened!. Where i could i read these things!. Any books that you suggest!? any websites!? i am probablly going to go to the library to get the books, no sense spending a bunch of money!. where would i look in the library, what section!? any help would be highly appreciated!. thank-you!.
