Best Answer - Chosen by Asker:
Number 1: I think the answer is "point of view" or "literary tone" because the story is written from the point of view of Huck Finn and with a playful tone that makes Huck the main character, or protagonist, so the reader automatically identifies with him!.

Number 2: It's such a great novel because it displays human nature at it finest: a typical American boy with questions, an imagination, and desire for adventure!. There are important life-lessons and moral and ethical dilemmas discussed on the simplest level, through the eyes of an innocent (and sometimes not so innocent) child!. Everyone can identify with Huck Finn!.

It's also a great novel because it provides examples of so many literary elements, literary terms, and literary devices!. Basically, it's a good novel to read in school because it shows clear antagonist-protagonist relationships, characterization, conflict, irony, foreshadowing, etc!.

Number 3: "literary foil" (see link)

P!.S!. Buy the Cliffs Notes for the books you read for school!. DON'T use them as a substitute for reading the books, just use them as a tool or reference to help recognize the little details that you might miss while your reading!. It's hard to pick up on symbolism and themes when you don't know what to look for!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
