Question: Can a story of love really be told!.!.!.!?
by only one of the members of the couple!? Can such a story ever be objective!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

Of course it can be told by only one member of the couple!. But it will always be subjective!. No matter how honest the person telling the story is, he will only be able to tell what he sees/understands!. Even if he tries to give you a little of the other side, it will still be from his point of view - and, therefore, merely a projection of his own feelings/views of the other person and the situation!.

As someone else said, there are three sides to the story (each member of the couple and your own)!. The only objective view of the story would come from you as the outside observer!. Even then, your story would depend on your own understanding of the events you are observing - making it subjective!.!.!.!.

Yes, it can be told by only one of the members!. Obviously it will not be objective at all, as only one side will be telling it and it will be from that individual's perspective only!. Additionally, it will be colored by the emotions of the person narrating his/her side!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Yes, a story of love can be told by one member of the couple!. No, the story can never be objective -it's a story of love, which cannot be told objectively by either or both parties!. Love stories are by their nature subjective, and even more so when not related by an outside observer!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Yes and Yes!

The Story of Love (or any other story for that matter) can be told by only one!. And it would be his or her side of story!. The objectivity would depend on the honesty of the narrator!.!.!.how truthful s/he is in analysing the feelings of self and lover!.

But in actual fact it is really subjective once the person involved decides to tell all!.!.!.

There are always three sides to a story!.!.!.my side, your side and listener's side!. So!.!.!.!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

Generally, we should always listen to both sides of the story!.

There are some cases though , that one person is serious, sane, fair, honest!. I don't see why we should not be satisfied by listening just his own side of the story!.!.!. Very rare, but it is a reality!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
