Question: I need help coming up with part of the plot for a story!.!?
It's a bit complicated!.
Basically I have a female character who was given up at birth by her mother!. She was born very premature and the woman never showed, so the woman's husband had no idea about the baby!. While he was away for a couple of weeks, she was born and when she was big and strng enough to leave the intensive care unit, she was given up to the woman's cousin, who could not have children and wanted them!. The mother just went back to her husband as if nothing happened!. Since then, the birth mother has had no contact with the child, who is now 18 and has no idea about the circumstances surrounding her birth!. The woman's cousin, the girl's adoptive mother, has since died, so the girl was brought up by her aunt and uncle!.
I'm writing it in so that the girl is now dating a guy who lives in the same small town as her biological father now does!. The biological mother has since divorced him and is completely off the scene and can't be written back in!.
Since the guy has no idea his wife was ever pregnant and the girl doesn't know anything about her real parents and assumes her dead adoptive mum is her real one, I need to be able to work into the plot a way for one or both of them to discover the truth!. But I have no clue how to do it!?

He could be a police officer, a doctor, or some other profession that requires legal information about all the people they work with/on!. Maybe she sees him for some reason - varying, depending on what he does!? Perhaps her legal guardians reveal the truth to her on her birthday or something, thinking she's finally old enough to know the truth!?
Something along those lines!.
(But as the first person said, if a baby was so premature that the mother wasn't even showing, the baby probably wouldn't live more than three minutes out of the womb!.!.!.)Www@QuestionHome@Com
Maybe since her adoptive mother has died, she took on a rebellion mind set and starts dating a guy who is the leader of a gang, who is most wanted in the city/town they live in!. Her father can be a cop, and when she begins to to bad things, he questions who she is and looks into her background info- where he discovers a family relation!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

here's a less boring one!.
How about there's a murderer or something chasing her down the street and she runs to the first house she sees- her dad's house!. She could see him and notice that their eyes or something were the same, and then, well I donno, that should get you past your writers block!. Www@QuestionHome@Com
