Here be Dragons, Falls the Shadow, and The Reckoning are a fantastic historical fiction series that's epic in scale, with lots of action and romance!. The second and third books had me in floods of tears several times each!.

You might also enjoy Phantom, by Susan Kay, which is a lusher, more romantic retelling of The Phantom of the Opera, and is also a tearjerker!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
