It's in the YA section!. It's extremely funny, and fairly romantic (but not nearly romantic as Twilight)!. Perhaps try the Uglies/Specials/Pretties trilogy by Scott Westerfeld!? Or the Guardians of Time trilogy by Marianne Curley, also YA!.
