I read A Separate Peace when I was in eighth grade (believe it or not!.!.!.we spent weeks on this) and I believe that Gene was the one who was afraid of failure!.

A lot of people are afraid of this!. They think that if they won't succeed at the present task, that all of their future goals will be useless!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
