Question: A question for writers!?(need advice)
Do you usually come up with an idea down to the littlest detail, or do you come up with a basic idea and then make it up as you go!?

or do you do something completely different!?

All writers work differently!. In the end you just have to find the path that is right for you!.

I usually have a broad idea for a story, along with ideas for several specific scenes!. I don't start out writing knowing how the entire story goes; new things pop up at every turn!. I rarely know where we are going beyond the next scene or two!. It makes for an exciting (but sometimes slow) process!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

when ur writing, the first and i think most important part about writing is the plot, u have to have like some basic starting point, so i guess u do come up with a basic idea and make it up as u go!.

well good luck!^^
hope that helps =)Www@QuestionHome@Com

A lot of old-schoolers would tell you to already have an idea of the plot but I would say just taking a simple idea and running with it usually brings you the most interesting results!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

Both actually!. I usually think of the big picture, and the smallest details come naturally!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I just let my mind wander!.
