Well, that's a bit vague because what children enjoy reading can vary a great deal as they grow!. A ten-year-old is likely to have different tastes in books than a five-year old for instance!. It would be helpful to know what age kid you are thinking of!.

However, the 'Narnia' books by C!.S!. Lewis are enduringly popular with both boys and girls, as are the 'Harry Potter' books by J!.K!. Rowling!.

I really liked the "Animorph" books when I was younger!. They are action packed, funny, and have interesting plots!. Plus the kids in the books can morph into animals which is so very cool!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Well if their young then i would say the berinstein bears!. Im fourteen and growing up i loved to read and listen to my mother read them!. and there are MANY differnt books of the berinstein bears!. I have all of them they equal about or over 100Www@QuestionHome@Com

A Wrinkle in Time by Madeleine Le'Engle!. It is the first book of a five book series!. It won the Newberry Book Award!. I am 20 years old and I just read it and thought it was great!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

The Ramona books by Beverly Cleary!. They're lots of fun, and Ramona is someone plenty of children can relate to!. I personally still love them!.
