Pride and Prejudice may be a good book for you, but also difficult to understand!. The dialogue they use is from centuries back, and only a mature reader will be able to understand it!.

Wuthering heights is a great book, especially if you're into tragic ending!. The language isn't as hard to understand as a Jane Austen novel, but it's still not an incredibly easy book!.

When I was twelve, I fell in love with Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte!. It's still my favorite book today!. And, if you liked Twilight, you may be intrigued by Jane Eyre!. Both are stories about girls who fall in love with amazing men (both named Edward), but eventually must deal with the mysteries of his past!.!.!.

I suggest Jane Eyre first, then Wuthering Heights, and finally, if you're feeling up to it, Pride and Prejudice!.

Happy reading!Www@QuestionHome@Com

I read it and I didn't like it!. The plot was too predictable and the Elizabeth-and-Darcy-love didn't seem like anything special to me!. It's worth reading since it's Jane Austen and a classic, but I felt like I'd wasted my time!. It was pretty boring in my opinion!. But I'll give you this: It does have good themes, and the concept of what pride and prejudice does to a relationship is very thought-provoking!. But the dialogue is hard and Austen's more of a descriptive author than a narrative one, I felt!.

I read Gone With the Wind though when I was the same age as you, which was last year!. It has romance and the relationship between Scarlett and Rhett is curious but so heartwarming! There's plenty of action since it takes place before, during, and after the Civil War!. If you want a classic, heartwarming (or perhaps a better word would be heartbreaking!?) love story, GWTW's a great one!. I'd suggest reading GWTW then reading P&P!. The language in Gone With the Wind isn't too hard either, whereas the language in P&P is pretty old-fashioned!. GWTW uses some hard words but if you have a dictionary handy you'll be fine!.

So my advice!? Read GWTW, P&P, and perhaps if you're feeling up to it, read Romeo and Juliet or A Tale of Two Cities for some more historical romance!. :)Www@QuestionHome@Com

If you read Pride and Prejudice, get a student copy with end notes at the back of the book!. I read it at 20, but flipped to the end notes throughout the entire book to better understand, because some of the language is not what I'm used to!. It's a great book, though!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Pride and Prejudice is just what the title says, the effects of pride and the effects of prejudice!. And of course everything in between!. Try Sense and Sensibility if you like romance, Wuthering Heights however may not be your cup of tea!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

I think that everybody should read Pride and Prejudice, it's fantastic!. So, yeah, read it!.
Wuthering Heights is good, but it is, under no terms, an uplifting novel!.
Maybe you should try Jane Eyre, too!. It's pretty good!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

you should for sure read pride and prejudice!.
Maybe look into some other austen novels too, like sense and sensibility and northanger abby!.
you should read romeo and juliet too, it's not too long or hard to follow!.

I really liked the story - definitely worth reading!! And if you find it too difficult to understand - just come back to it in a couple of years =]Www@QuestionHome@Com
