How do i become an author at age 11?

Question: How do i become an author at age 11!?

Im 11 and i love to write and read and so i have been wanting to write childrens books cause not to brag but im a really good writer!. does anyone have any ideas of what to write about or any titles!? and if i write childrens books and finish them how do i publish them!? because i hear all the time about kids who become authors and i really want to pursue a career of an author!. can anyone answer me!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

Practice, practice, practice!. It's highly unlikely you'd be good enough for publishing at such a young age, when most of the competition you'll be up against is so much older!. But don't think I'm being negative; what's the hurry, anyway!? You're very lucky to have such talent so young; now you need to concentrate on maturing that talent and honing it to perfection, so that when you're grown up you'll be one of the greatest there is!.
Very few kids become authors, and those that do tend to have family connections in the industry!. Practice your grammar too; your sentences above have a few mistakes and no capitalisation!. You may think it doesn't matter, but a serious writer should always take pride in their writing!.

google the 'writers and artists yearbook'

it will come up with a list of publishers!.
read their guidelines, and what they are looking for, if you think you fit it either send them your manuscript by mail or by post, whichever they prefer!.

i am thirteen and have done the same recently, didnt think it would work but got quite a few offers, was well pleased!.

At 11 years old, just write whatever you want to write!. It'll help you develop your craft and get into the habit of writing, which is what's most important!. Don't even worry about publishing yet until you get some stuff finished!. Good luck!Www@QuestionHome@Com

I'm not sure how to become an Author at such a young age, but if you like to read you definitely read Twilight by Stephanie Meyer or any other book in the Twilight series!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
