I love to read books about end of the world and future fiction but hate it when they end, so I like there to be more so that the story is more involved and I don't finish it so quick, any sudgestions!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker:
I recommend the His Dark Materials trilogy by Phillip Pullman!.
Some people have said that The Golden Compass film was a blow to the book's reputation, either way though, I think the books are fantastic, gripping and adventurous!.

The trilogy consists of!.!.!.
Book One 'Northern Lights' (film name The Golden Compass)
Book Two 'The Subtle Knife'
Book Three 'The Amber Spyglass'

I totally love these books!. If you're into books about the end of the world, you'll love 'The Chronicles of Ancient Darkness by Michelle Paver!. So far there are 4 books out, however there's a 5th one coming out later this year and then 2 more to come after that!.

The series consists of!.!.!.
Book One: 'Wolf Brother'
Book Two: 'Spirit Walker'
Book Three: 'Soul Eater'
Book Four: 'Outcast'
Book Five: 'Oathbreaker' (to be released later this year)
Book Six: 'Ghost Hunter' (to be released in 2009)

I think they're fantastic, too!. They're not so much about the end of the world!.!.!. but usually a book that uses that kind of plot is non-stop action and adventure, with a bit of surprise shock along the way!. This series is set around 2,000 years ago with a boy called Torak, his best friend Renn and their canine companion Wolf!. It sounds kind of childish but the storyline and events of the series are anything but!. Like you want, these are books that you really get involved with, they're a series and you soon find you can't get enough of them! Michelle Paver visited our school in 2006 and she was totally amazing!.

Good luck!
