You should try many different Classics, a really good classic that I like was, Uncle Tom's Cabin, I can't remember the Author, but the book was very popular and still is, though very long, it is very good!. Another good one is Tom Sawyer, I found it very funny!. The author makes you feel like a little kid again, it was very enjoyable!. Good luck I will put on a link to Barnes and Noble classics for you!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

There are many good books suggested by others!. As a former English teacher, I would recommend that you also read Greek and Roman mythology!. The ideas are still relevant and you will better understand such terms as "narcissistic" and an Augean task to mention but two!.

also consider more modern fiction that deals with contemporary themes like "Cut!." "Swallowing Stones" points out the life altering consequences of thoughtless acts!.

Your decision to obtain cultural wisdom through reading is admirable!. Remember to ask you local librarian for suggestions too!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Jane Eyre was always my favorite!. Mystery, romance, etc!.

Wuthering Heights is a bit darker, but still very good!.

The Count of Monte Cristo is one of the best adventure/romances I've ever read!.

Pride and Prejudice is a classic romance by one of my favorite authors!.

Rebecca is the greatest mystery I've ever read!. There's also some romance!. I still can't believe what happened in the end!.!.!.!.

The Scarlet Pimpernel is an easy classic to get into!. It's a fantasic romance/adventure set during the French Revolution!.

All of the books above were amazing, and I think any teenager would love to read them!. Have fun reading!Www@QuestionHome@Com
