Question: Were you mad that Breaking Dawn switched to Jacob's view instead of Bella's!?

I was! I've never been a big Jacob fan!. I even scanned ahead quickly looking for chapter titles that were one word to know when his section ended and Bella's started up again, risking ruining the book for myself just to know that there was salvation near *raises hand to head dramatically*:P!. But yeah, seriously, I was mad!. The only thing I liked about Jacob's part was Leah and Seth!. I wish it had been in Edward's, I really wanted to know how he was feeling through that terrible time but it was important to see the wolves side of things!. It was needed but BAHWww@QuestionHome@Com

Extremely!. To me, her character was like a stranger!. Since we've never really seen her as someone who wants children, it was hard to accept that she was willing to die for this child!. I would have preferred Edward's point of view above Jacob's, because he could read minds and we'd get almost ALL the character's thoughts from him!. I was unprepared for Jacob's point of view and that made the book worse in my eyes!. also, Jacob didn't really know he Cullen's well, and his take on the characters was very different from Bella's!. All the characters seemed out of character or over done!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

It made sense if you think about it!. Bella had to sit on the couch thru the entire pregnancy, and her view on things would not have been as accurate!. I think the reason that she did not go into Edwards point of view because she has said that she is going to rewrite the entire series!.!.!.from Edwards point of view!. Using Jacobs point of view gave you a little insight on how he really felt about everything, and how mixed his emotions were, then when he imprinted with Renesmee, how that all changed, I actually liked how she did that, it gave the book a much wider range!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I was just mad about the whole book!. It was a revolting collection of fan fiction strung together to give fangirls the happy ending they so desperately needed!. I do not consider Jacob imprinting on a mutant baby to be a happy ending for him!. She turned her only decent character into her second pedophile!.

Many many people have taken their books back!. Still others have written to Little Brown to tell them how dissatisfied they were!. The book is a travesty!. Pax-CWww@QuestionHome@Com

At first, I was a little upset but I realized that if we had stuck to Bella's point of view throughout the whole story - that the middle part (that's supposed to be Jacob's POV) would be spent describing how much pain Bella is in!. What's so interesting about that!? We would have never found out that pack's plan to attack the Cullen's!. I think it was in Jacob's POV for the best!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

no
i thought it was the best part of the book
even before i found out the book sucked i was happy
i was bouncing up and down
people really need to see jakes perspective
people hate him cuz they dont have an understanding of his character
all they care about is edward and bella
they give "reasons" to hate him
but what they really mean is
"how could SM put this other character that likes bella in!? Ugh hes so obnoxious cuz he's not edward!. i hate him, he "interferes with the relationship"
thinking like that didnt allow them to look at things his way!.

I wasn't really mad per se!. It got kinda confusing sometimes because I still expected it to be as Bella, and it was just a little different!. It took away a little from the book, but I do understand why she decided to do that, since Bella was pretty much just sitting around the Cullen house for that whole part!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

No, I thought it was an intersting change!. I don't think that I have ever read a book that was sort of separated into different books and has different views!. I kind of like that!.
And isn't it only for a little while!? Like only the second 'book'!? And doesn't it go back to Bella's view after a bit!?
Anyways, I guess we all have our own opinions!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I wasn't actually maadd!.!.
More like disappointed!.
I just prefer Bella's point of view since I can connect her more than Jake!.
Still, if there was no Jacob's POV, we'd all have a harder time understanding him and hate him more and more , aha!.

When I heard about it, Yes!.

But then at the end, I realized that it's a good idea to see what Jacob thinks!. I don't like Jacob that much, but I found it okay!.

I still see people recommend reading Breaking Dawn, even if they were in Edward's side!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

well i thought it was ok!.!.!.but i got kinda mixed up sometimes cuz im so used to Bella POV that sometimes when i was reading Jacob's POV i was think it was Bella's POV so that was confusing!.!.!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

no i am happy it did!. although if we were in edwards head, we would only see how he looked at bella!. and nothing else!. he would always be by her side!. with jacobs side, he isnt always at the cullens house, so we learn more about him!. i actually liked jacobs side

i was at first
but then by the end
it was really for the best

because if it stuck to Bella's view
than nobody but jacob would have ever known about the packs plan to attack the Cullen's and renesmeeWww@QuestionHome@Com

At first I thought it was a very bad idea because I never really liked Jacobs character!. However that part really made me connect on a level with Jacob that I didn't ever feel before!. I really thought it fit in with the story!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

I love Jake, so I was more disappointed when it switched back to Bella, lol!. She's such a Mary Sue it's hard to read about her sometimes!. >!.<;Www@QuestionHome@Com

YES!! I really wanted to know what was happening in Bella's head!!! And why Jacob!?!?!? Not Edward >!.< I don't have anything against Jacob, but he's just very obnoxious!.!.!. it got really really annoying! Www@QuestionHome@Com

not really i liked that they showed jacobs side that he was still in love with bella untill he imprinted on renesmee, yeah but shes goina make all 4 books in edwards view so i didnt want to spoil itWww@QuestionHome@Com

I was at first, but then I realized that It would have been very boring in Bellas point of view!. Just reading about her being in pain all the time, lame!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

No, because if it didn't we wouldn't have known what was going on during that part because Bella was was laying around the Cullen's house, sick the entire time!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I actually enjoyed it!. It helped me understand Jacob better and I like his character better than i used to!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

No, Jacob's POV was WAY funnier and more interesting than Bella's!. I wish the whole book had been written like that!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Nope!. I wasn't mad at all because we won't know what Jacob would do to the Cullens and Nessie!. So ya I am not mad!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

No, it was the only part of the book worth reading!
Honestly, it was the only part of the book that I liked!. No joke!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
