Okay here goes!.!.!.!.my honest answer would be torn between two books:

- Salinger's "Catcher in the Rye", which made me think about the world,and opened my eyes to a brand, brave new world, which i promptly decided wasn't for me!. However, it does have a bit of an odd history, being the book that provoked that guy to shoot John Lennon!.!.!.!.but it made me think in a slightly less sadistic fashion!.

- Keraouc's "Lonesome Traveler", which was simply so incredibly well written that I was shocked, and it changed the way I write forever!. The poignancy of his description, and the way it connected with me, was something special!.

If only Mrs WElch could read this!.!.!.!.hehe ;)
