The Grapes of Wrath is worth a read!. Parts of it are a little slow, but there are reasons why it's a classic piece of literature!. There are other Steinbeck novels that are more engaging and shorter, but I liked the Grapes of Wrath!.

I thought The Secret was new-age mumbo-jumbo, but admittedly I didn't read it all the way through!. I guess it's kind of empowering to think that good thoughts cause good things, and bad thoughts bad, but that just sounds like it would induce guilt to me!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

The Grapes of Wrath is worth the read!. I'm not a huge Steinbeck fan, but he is a competent writer and the story is compelling!.

The Secret is a bunch of mumbo jumbo that it's best to avoid in my opinion!. I should qualify this statement by saying that I haven't read the book, but have seen a documentary in favor of the Secret which outlined it's main principles!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

To me The Grapes of Wrath was only ok!. I'm not a huge Steinbeck fan in the first place, but if you like his style of writing (long, descriptive sentences!.!.!. not much diversity) then you would like the book!. The meaning behind the novel was great, the style of writing is what bored me!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
