Question: How Many Writers Would Be Interested in This Idea!?

I confess, I didn't come up with this myself!. I'd like to start writing a story, but pass it along to other, GOOD writers!. I'd write 500-1000 words in a blog, then another writer, could continue it, taking the story in any direction he/she chooses, and so on, and so on!.!.!.Sound intriguing!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

You know!.!.!.KeKee makes a good argument!. What about that idea, but instead, have everyone write a chapter from a different character's point of view!? That way, the writing wouldn't have to match so closely!. It would actually help differentiate between characters!.

noo it would loose the main plot of the book, i mean the point of a "series" or chapters in a book is that its suppose to take places of the characters point of view based on different things that somehow connect to the plot of the story!.!.!. you have to always remember to stay in character and not change up moods too often!.!. i mean if you were to introduce other people to this character and have them write the book in that characters point of view, most likley the moods of that character would change and it would loose the appeal to readers!.!. if your going to introduce other characters views in the story then it wouldnt be a bad idea to have other writers write there persepective in that character, mind you that would be VERY difficult and you would be constantly switching back and forth with the book and it would just get too confusing in the end!.!. best thing to do is to write the book by YOURSELF and do the characters by YOURSELF because chances of you getting annoyed by the constant "lending of the book" for the writers to stick on role and the odds of the moods of the characters fluctuating every 5 min would be VERY RARE, because your able to stay on key with the chracters and get more in depth with the story!.!. if its a childrens book like for kindergardenrs then it shouldnt matter at all and id say go for it :) but hey there is nothing wrong with giving it a try, if you can pull it off then kudos for you, im sure in the end it could probably turn out to be a pretty amazing book!! make sure YOU are the one to revise it in the end and some how make it all flow!.!. if you can do that then the book most definatly would be crazy awsome!!Www@QuestionHome@Com

That definitely sounds intriguing!. One of my best friends and her boyfriend did that once, and it was fantastic!. But my advice is to do that with your friends!. Not online!. You have no idea how many people are just waiting to steal your hard work, and you're pretty much offering up yours and anyone else's who's willing to do this!. Try it out with your friends first, or maybe with some kids from your english/creative writing class at your school!.

I don't know why you do that!. Most authors have more than one idea at a time but they file them away and come back to them!. We all suffer from block, but I find some of the best things I have written were began in the past!. Move on to your nextplot idea and when you come to a block, try going over you previous work!. Otherwise send it to me and lose it forever!.

that sounds that it would be really cool, but it would be difficult to make the story flow right because the different writers would have different styles writing!. of course, if you could make it would the story would probably be amazingWww@QuestionHome@Com
