Question: Need Help figuring out a children's book that I use to read in elementary school!

The book was a about a school who had many floors!. It was a funny book at that!. For some reason I think the cover had a picture of the school and it looked like a sky scrapper on the cover!. also, there was a missing floor but I can't remember that also!. could it be Sideways Stories From Wayside School by Louis Sacher!? The 19th floor is missing!. The author also wrote Holes, made into a movie with Shia LeBeouf!.
