well harry potter is must!. I know you said not twilight but I never reccoomend a bad book and it is fantastic, i would give it a shot!. My Sweet Audrina (by V!.C Andrews) was really great, and a page turner, but it is a little explicit so your parents might not let you!. also by V!.C Andrews is THe Flowers in the Attic series, it is wonderful but again a little explicit and definatly heart breaking!. A really great teen series is The Pretty Little Liars, its a mystery but not your cheasy nancy drew murder mystery its SCNADALOUS!. I love it!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

if you like fairies and sci fi, then you will LOVE artemis fowl by eoin colfer!. give it a chance, it is my FAVOURITE series and there is not one person i know who did not like it when they tried it!. the series has six books so far, all of which you can't put down, and they are relitively short, ranging from two hundred to less than three hundred pages!.

And if you can't find a good book, write 1! Thats what I do too!.!.!.!.
But writing isn't always 4 everyone so!.!.!. all of the books mentioned by all would be good!.!.!. just depends on your taste!
