Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: For example if you say: "He did an Judgemement of Solomon" this is an allusion to the wisdom of the person you talk about!. If someonde makes in his speech a reference to a well-known person, place, event, literary work, or work of art this is called Allusion!. In the Hobbit for example there is once or twice the Necromancer in the Mirkwood, which is an allusion to Sauron in the Hobbits Sequel!. The Lord of the Rings!.Www@QuestionHome@Com |
