Twilight should be fine for a twelve year old!. Eclipse gets a little more mature and Breaking Dawn is definitely not something I'd let MY twelve year old read!. A little too much sexual content in my opinion!. But it depends on how mature the 12 year old is!. But the first two are pretty safe!. Just some kisses and some violence!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Um!. 12!. No!. but it depends on the 12 year old i guess!. they're not all the same!. there are some sexual references in the 3rd and 4th books!. but they're not graphic!. there's no swearing and the only violence takes place at the end of the books for the most part, but again its not extreme violence!. a twelve year old could handle it!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Why!? Are you 12 years old or the Mom/Dad of a 12 year old!? I'm guessing you are 12 due to your writing style!.

The books are okay for a 12 year old to read!. It is a romantic story though and has some stuff in it you might not understand!. Nothing over the top but sexual in a way!.

You might want to wait until you're at least in high school!. There are lots of other good books that are for teens where these are more young adult books!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

the book twilight itself is not inappropriate, it is actually very good!. however, when you go deeper into the saga, it gets a little worrisome!. proceed with caution, especially when entering the last book, breaking dawn!. good luck though! twilight is a really good book!. :] Www@QuestionHome@Com

No!. It is fine!. In Eclipse, Bella wants to have sex with Edward, but they don't, and in Breaking Dawn, Stephenie Meyer doesn't even describe the kiss leading up to the sex!. It's totally clean, trust me!.
It's a great series! You should read it!.
