Don't get me wrong-- I love Mansfield Park!. I really liked the plot!. The reason it's last is because the main character-- Fanny-- annoys me just a bit!. She's no Elizabeth Bennett!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

No doubt you'll receive almost as many different lists "from best to worst" as answers, since it's all according to taste!. Before I give my list, I'll preface it by saying that each of the books you have on your list is an outstanding classic!.

1!. Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen (This has been, and still remains, my favorite novel!.)
2!. Sense and Sensibility by Jane Austen
3!. Wuthering Heights by Emily Bronte
4!. Mansfield Park by Jane Austen (My reason for putting Mansfield Park last is the exact same as Why So Serious' reason!. Heathcliff's endless vengeance in WH also annoys me, but Fanny wins the insipid award!. )Www@QuestionHome@Com

Wuthering Heights (exceptional, gutsy story)
Pride and Prejudice (the best Austen novel, in my opinion)
Sense and Sensibility (sweet, classic story)
Mansfield Park (great story and definitely worth a read, but I agree with previous answerers that the female lead is a little harder to take in this one)Www@QuestionHome@Com
