Question: TWILIGHT~If Vampires don't have to breath, then why does Bella have to breath when Charlie visits!?

My question comes from the last book in the Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn!. I was just reading the part where Charlie sees her after she became a vampire and she has to keep breathing in order to talk to him, but why!? She doesn't really have to do it for show because she can just move her shoulders to make it look like she's breathing and it would make a whole lot more sense for her to not breath so that she isn't tempted!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

It wouldn't look natural if she moved her shoulders up and down instead of actually breathing; try moving your shoulders up and down right now!. See how awkward that looks!? Even though she doesn't need to breath, it looks much more normal when she does!.

Besides, she wouldn't be tempted by breathing through her mouth!. You barely catch the scent if you breath through your mouth, and she already showed remarkable control over her desire for human blood!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Charlie doesn't know she's a Vampire, he doesn't want to know!. She has to in order to make things look normal!. Plus she does just move her shoulders, it says that in the book!. She doesn't actually breath, just takes air in to talk!.!.!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

When you talk, you let out air from your vocals to carry the sounds waves and blah blah blah!. That's why she thought "there goes the last of my air" after she had spoken for a while, she lets it out as she talks, no one picked up on that!?Www@QuestionHome@Com
