Didn't they contain his native soil!? Seems to me that's what I remember!. He had to sleep in his native soil during the day, so he put the boxes everywhere, hiding them in places where he might roam!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

They contained soil from Transylvania and he needed that because during the day, vampires have to sleep on their native soil or they would die!. Dracula had so many because he wanted to have many places where he could go!. Www@QuestionHome@Com
