I forget the title but a hen wanted to bake bread but none of the other animals in the barnyard wanted to help!. So eventually she gathered the ingredients and she and her chicks baked the bread!. Then all the animals wanted some of it but since they didn't help they got nothing!. Nice morality tale for a toddler!. :o)

When I was in first grade they had these horrible Dick and Jane books!. Amazingly they are still in print!.
