Question: Would a 150 year old copy of the works of Shakespeare be worth much!?

There's a possibility it might not be!.

It generally depends on how rare a book is and the demand for it!. For example, if it was a book with a huge print run, it's unlikely it's worth much, while a Dicken's book that is a first print, with a small print run, would be worth more because there are less available good condition copies!.

You'll have to check it out on rare book sites!. But Shakespeare being common, I'd say a 150 year old copy of completed works wouldn't be worth very much!.

Yeah, I just looked it up, not an awful lot!. It it's in good conditions, you may be able to get something like $50 for it!.

Mattbids!.!.!.originals!?!?!? How old do you think Shakespeare is!?!?!?!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

It would appeal mainly to those who want to expand their library, its not really a great collectable because he was so popular then!. Still, if you took it to an auction you'd get between £20 and £50, depending on the condition!.

And Matt dear, I doubt it would be an original!Www@QuestionHome@Com

Yeah i guess originals go for millions
