Question: Did Stephenie Meyer give what the fans wanted!?
in breaking dawn everyone was happy!.!.i think if they werent happy (like jake not imprinting or bella and edward not having sex etc!.) that the reaction would have been the same!.!.!.SM did it 50/50!.!.!.it kinda made breaking dawn like a fairytale

do u get what im saying!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

No, she didn't!.
Jake fans are pissed cause he imprinted on the demon, which was bella and edwards DAUGHTER!. How can anyone say that is not disgusting!.
Edward fans seem to be mad as the baby took away the romance, and made the whole choice thing pointless!. The whole point of eclipse was that edward mattered to her more than human life (kids, etc etc)

Maybe Meyer thought she was giving us what we wanted, but she is sadly mistaken!.

Clearly, Stephenie knew she wasn't going to make everyone happy, but she did try!. What everyone should realize is that she wrote it the way she wanted the saga to end, not how the fans wanted it to end!.

Anyways, I am very happy with Breaking Dawn!. Edward and Bella ended up together, plus have a child!. Bella was able to partly tell her father the truth!. Jacob and Bella can still be friends even though she is a vampire!. Leah explains why she's so rude all the time and she and Jacob become closer!. Bella is only turned into a vampire when she is dying, so Edward can't feel bad for taking away her human life because she would have died anyways!. Jacob imprints on Renesmee, which is great for 2 reasons!. He will no longer miss Bella, because he is in love with someone else, and Renesmee will now have a big, strong werewolf looking out for her!. The only problem is, Renesmee will live forever, while Jacob won't!. Don't know how well that will work out!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

YES!. I agree with you, well about it being a fairytale, which isn't a good thing!.

"Bella didn't have to sacrifice anything apparently!. She gets Edward AND a baby AND immortality as a vampire!. What about poor Jake--not a problem, he IMPRINTS on the baby, which I find disturbing not so much because it is a baby (though that is creepy just as it was with Quil) but because it's Edward and Bella's baby!. Can we say cop out!? Life doesn't turn out so neatly!. People love and lose (and don't fall for the object of their affection's daughter)!. But in Meyer's world everyone is one big happy family!."

That reviewer said it perfectly!. She has a good review too!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I hated the series after reading Eclipse!. I think her fans were hoping was that she had everything planned and ready to go but she didnt!. What Meyer taught us was what not to be!. Edward and Bella's love has so many deep holes through them and the whole twisted plot of Jake falling for their baby!!? That is not only distrubing but shows that Meyer probably just couldnt figure out anything to do with Jake and made him like Quil and fall for the baby!. I hope teenage girls will finally realize the patheticness of the series and pick up some decent books to read!. btw, i'm also a teenage girl i just see through the books!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

yeeeah ,
she gave everyone a happy fairy tale ending
and when she wrote it i don't think her main focus was to give the fans what they wanted ,
i think that she wrote it how she wanted it to end , considering all fans have a different way they wanted the series to end
there wouldn't have been a way to please everyone!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

No she didn't!. Everything was too perfect!. No sacrifice at all!. She could have had Jake imprint on someone other that Bella's daughter (I suppose it could have been worse if Bella had a son!. lol)

Not to mention, I think her writing skills lacked, she did better in the other 3 books!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Yeah, I totally get what you're saying!.

To me the book felt like a cop-out!. It was like Stephenie Meyer was trying to hard to please everyone at the risk of a poor story and a lack of character development!.

In my opinion it was a poor choice to make!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

I see what you are saying but I still think she could of done better!. Everyone is saying she had grown as a writer before this book and after Eclipse so this book was different!.!.!. It was to different for me and it didn't even seem like the same author!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
