Question: Is Dante's Inferno a book for christians!? What genre is it!?

I'm wondering if i should read this or not!. If its for christians, i think ill pass!. If its horrorish, then ill give it a read!. also, what genre is it!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

Well, it includes certain Christian theological ideas, but so did every other work of literature from the time period!. It certainly has its share of horror!. I mean, it's a vision of Hell!.

The genre is poetry, although I believe there are some prose translations out there as well!. Www@QuestionHome@Com
