It is quite long but it is intellectually stimulating and fairly well written as philosophical novels go!. I found it to be a more mature exposition of selfish objectivism than Ayn Rand's other classic, "The Fountainhead!."
The plot at times stretches credulity, but I felt myself pulled onward by the question "Who is John Galt!?"!. "He is Prometheus who changed his mind and decided to withdraw his holy fire until men withdrew their vultures!." This novel colored the way I will understand the world for all time!.
