well she said on an interview that no matter what the response of the audience, she's happy with the book, and nothing's going to change that!. I'm sure she'll be a little disappointed, but she said that the responses were not going to affect her!.

Maybe it was an experiment!. I haven't read it but if it's really as bad as people say, she probably wondered if people would still buy it if it wasn't written well!. Turns out she was right!.
