Question: I'm trying to find a short story I read many years ago

I cannot remember too much detail from the story other than it was very short, like only one page!. It was about loneliness and darkness and emptiness!. And the very last line was "and then he said "Let there be light"!. It is obviously a story about how God felt before he said those words, but I have not been able to find it online, partly because I cannot remember the name of the story or who wrote it!. I think the story you are looking for is called 'Sole Solution' and was written by Eric Frank Russell!. It's very old!. Try putting his name into Google and you may find more!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Isaac Asimov's short story "The Last Question" ends with those words, but it is more than one page, maybe four or five pages!. And as you might expect from Asimov, it is science fiction, so it probably isn't what you are looking for!. Www@QuestionHome@Com
