Soft terry cloth that is damp but not soaking wet!. Wring it out several times!. Then GENTLY wipe off the dirt and set the book out to dry before putting it away!. It won't get very wet, but you want to make sure the dampness is gone before you stack them together!. If its something sticky on the cover, use a very little bit of dish soap and make sure its wiped off!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Consider putting them in a Ziplock bag in the freezer for a couple of days, that'll kill mold and fungus!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
