Tell him how important this is to you and that it's one of your favorite book series!. Tell him one of the main parts of having a favorite book series that is really popular and having one of the books come out is the fun of anticipating the book coming out, going to the party, buying it at midnight, and then reading it like all the next day!. You're just not getting the full experience of it if you don't!. That would just totally suck!. And plus, this is the last book in the Twilight series, so you won't have another chance to do that!. If you go on so many vacations, ask him if you could please, for many good reasons, just miss this one (out of very many chances you have had and will have) this one time (since this is a once in a lifetime oppurtunity!.) Good luck and I really hope that he lets you stay home and read it! :-)Www@QuestionHome@Com

OK, family time is GOOD!. You'll realize that more when you have to move out of the house!. Why is he taking it away!? And if he does, just last through however long it'll be before you can read it!. It's a book!. I love the series, I have to say, but if it were a vacation, I'd just go!. you're having you're own party and you get to go to a Breaking Dawn party!. That should be enough for the moment!. Besides, the wait might be worth it!. You'll be even more excited for it!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

How often do you spend time with your family!? especially on vacation!. Was the last vacation so horrible!? so unbearable that you couldn't wait to get home!?

Anyways, just read the book while on your trip (flight, car ride, etc)!.

Would it kill you to miss a day of reading!? The book will always be there!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Tell him that there are other people in the world that would love to spend time away from home instead of working their asses off for money to pay for gas and that he should stay home and save his bucks!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

wowww!.!.!. I'm obsessed and I wouldn't go THAT far!.!.!.

just get the book when it comes out and read it on the car rides!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

just keep on talking about it non stop!. that is how i am getting my parents to let me go to a release party for it

Crack his head open with a hammer, smother him, get him to sniff glue, or convince him to watch a friends marathon!.

All will induce brain damage and make it easy to convince him that somehow you're not a mental case!.

Grow up, the guy works hard all year so you can eat, live indoors, and buy teen vampire books!. So stop bugging him and just read the book in the car and try not to be the little animal that your age makes you!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Well if you're putting a book before your family, then thats utterly absurd!. You won't die if you postpone your reading of Breaking Dawn!. But who knows what could happen with you family,(I hope nothing does), but you probably will wish you would have taken that vacation with them and spent more time together!.

Don't put material possessions before your family!.

Edit: No, you won't die!. I'm a twilight fan as well and have been waiting for this the day after Eclipse came out, b/c I was done within a day!. I know what it's like to wait!. You won't die!.!.believe me!.

Have Patience!.

That makes so little sense, why would he take away the book!?
Does it have something to do with it taking away from family activities or something!?
Tell him you'll only read it on the way there, in between doing things together!.!.!.ect
You could say being that you get carsick it might help if you had something else to concentrate on!.
Ummm say since you've hardly been home reading something familiar, (like something from the Twilgiht series) will make you less homesick!.
So I honestly don't know if any of these will work!.
Just talk to him like a rational adult, and ask him his reasoning for not letting you read it once you get it!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
