Question: Why are people answering questions on Books and Authors by writing *drink*!?
it is getting annoyingWww@QuestionHome@Com

It did start in response to annoying questions that have been repeated ad infinitum, like some of the Twilight questions!. However, it is now being used for questions that have NOT been asked multiple times!. The person answering with *drink* is not even attempting to answer the question at all!.

For instance, someone was looking for an audio edition of Vanity Fair and another one of a short story by Daphne du Maurier!. Frankly, I've never seen that particular question before!. I answered it seriously, and the next person put DRINK (and nothing more)!.

You are right, answering with one single word (DRINK) is as annoying as seeing tons of the same questions!. It would be okay if the person would at least ANSWER the question before putting *drink* - but this particular one is not!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Some of us are getting annoyed by all the Twilight questions that have been answered a million times!. So when we find a repetitive one we end our answer with "drink!." It's just an inside joke that is intended to make Twilighters have a bit more /original/ questions!. ;)
The funny think is, a lot of us *drink*ers aren't anti-Twilight at all!. Most people just find the questions annoying no matter where they stand!.

I hate it when people only answer with "drink" and nothing else, though!. It's immature and very noobish; I prefer to actually answer the question first!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Its a reply to all the overly asked questions!. We are starting to get annoyed with Twilight questions that have been asked a thousand times before so we reply with *drink* to let the people know that the question has been asked been asked a million times before!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

It's a drinking game carried over from Religion and Spirituality - every time someone disregards the Community Guidelines by posting a question that has been asked millions of times before, you take an internet drink!.

Or a real one, whatever floats your boat!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Its to get twilighters to stop asking the same question again!!! Its so annoying when every question in books and authors is a "are you on team edward or team jacob!?!?!?" or what should I wear to look like bella!?!?!? Thats been asked before!Www@QuestionHome@Com

All I have to say is that, so far, 99!.9% of them are as reportable as the repetitive or fandom related Twilight questions that are annoying everyone!. *shrug*Www@QuestionHome@Com

Theres a game going around where Anti-Twilighters are spamming all questions about Twilight with 'Drink',to get the Twilighters to stop asking questions "50 million times"

Personally,it seems immature to me!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

its just something we do when we see a repeated question twilight-related

lol, funny thing is, people should write *drink* on this question too cause i just asked the same thing :DWww@QuestionHome@Com

I completely agree with you! i think they don't know what to say so they just want points and just to be ANNOYING!!Www@QuestionHome@Com
