Edward irritates me!. You can't help but like him, though, because his character is just so!.!.!. I don't know, mysterious!? Fascinating!?

But he does irritate me!. He has a habit of lying to Bella to "protect" her, and at times, he's more of a body gaurd than a boyfriend!. He's kind of!.!.!. manipulative!. Which is to be expected!. When you date someone more than 10 years older than you, something off-beat, and manipulation is usually involved!. So, obviously I have some mixed feelings about Edward!.

I like that Jacob is more human-like!. I like that he's got quirks and is a little bit immature (people forget that he IS younger than Bella!.!.!. and definitely younger than Edward!.!.!. he acts his age, nothing wrong with that)!. I think his attitude in endearing and he cares for Bella, but his very instincts tell him to kill the one she's in love with!. Oh, the conflict!. He's by far my favorite character, and even though I think it's pointless to hope for Bella to choose him, because she obviously won't, I do hope Stephenie ends the series with my Jake happy!. =)

Honestly, what's with the "Grow up" nonsense!? Is it okay to have a healthy disagreement!? It's a freakin' book for goodness sake!. It was written to be enjoyed, to spark conversations and create disagreements!. It's all part of the story!. I would much prefer Bella to choose Jacob because he's so good for her; when Bella is with Jake, they laugh and have fun!. When she is with Ed, all she can do is stutter about his stone cold lips and hot abs!. also, if Bella chooses Jacob she can grow old, she gets to keep her family/friends, and she can have children!. If she chooses Ed, she will not have the opportunity to do any of that!.

The reason behind 'grow up nonsense' is it gets really annoying seeing obsessive compulsive idiots fighting over which fictional character should marry another fictional character!.
