Yes, I've been a writer since 1994, although until recently I only wrote for magazines, radio broadcasts and international competitions!.

Writing a novel is more satisfying in that you have a broader sheet to go at, and are allowed more complex situations!.

Difficulties I faced !.!.!.!. planning is more necessary, plots need thorough researching!. Scheduling time is quite important too, you have to be strict - treat it as any other job, no slacking!. It's too easy to put things off until another day!.

When I wrote a book, I actually wrote three, the first one was the beginning and the others were the sequeals, anyways!. Difficulties you may face is putting in twists, depending on your type of book genre, horror, fiction, Sci-Fi, whichever, a book novel has interesting things happening constantly, like in a romantic novel like "Carlos was caught kissing Tiffany"! Or something lol, my books were horror if you wanted to know, also I faced picking the characters, names to match the character, how their personality is!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
