Christiane F!. and Happy Old Year (by Marcelo Rubens Paiva)

Both are really!.!.!.harsh, but truth to their reality!. I really like that!. They are both so sad, but it's so well written you just can't put the book down!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I've read hundreds of biographies over the years, but the one that still resonates with me is "George Washington" by Douglas Southall Freeman, in seven volumes (that's right, seven)!. After spending so many pages with GW's daily life and pursuits, at the end of this lengthy biography I felt that I had lost a friend (I actually teared up a little at the deathbed scene)!.

Almost as powerful in its impact on me was Carl Sandburg's multivolume biography of Abraham Lincoln!. Although dismissed by Lincoln-bashers as hagiography, I still consider Sandburg's finely written biography to be one of the best in the English language!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

well the only one i've ever read was Marilyn Manson's and all the obscurities just made me go: wow!
it is pretty graphic and disgusting at times, so i don't recommend it to everyone, but it also has very funny moments!.
and is just written so bluntly and honestly!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

It's Not About the Bike by Lance Armstrong!.

It was a good biography in that it totally made me hate the guy (who once was my hero)!. Good biographies are honest, and honesty includes, but is not limited to, showing the world you are a complete and utter asshole!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

The best biography I ever read was about Jane Austen!. It was written by her brother!. It was very good but very hard to find!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Alicia, My Story by Alicia Appleman-Jurman
(autobiography)

Coming in second The dairy of Ann Frank!. I just really admire both of these people so!.!.!.!.!. :)Www@QuestionHome@Com
